What application did you use this filter for? Refrigerator, ice machine or humidifier?
Answer: I used this on my new refrigerator main water inlet. The refrigerator has a filter for the water but I wanted another for the lime deposits. It works well after 6 months. -

Can these filters connect to copper tubing?
Answer: I am not positive but my guess would be NO. Mine is connected to a flexible plastic line. You can call the filter store at 800-277-3458 to be sure.
