There is ample space underneath the bed, with a clearance of approximately 30 inches. However, it is not tall enough to fit a desk underneath. The recommended mattress size is a standard Full size, and the recommended thickness should not exceed 8 inches. It comes in one big 6-foot box, and the legs are approximately 4x4 inches.
