About This Item
Introducing the Rhino PD-55 Medium Duty Post Driver - the ultimate solution for all your post driving needs. Featuring a top cover made of high-strength ductile iron casting, the PD-55 is built to last. The cover is equipped with a 1-inch diameter handle, designed for easy handling and carrying.
With its o-ring seal, you can rest assured that this post driver is built to withstand even the toughest conditions. The body of the PD-55 is also made of ductile iron casting, known for its excellent wear-resistant characteristics. The air inlet is cast into the body, and tapped with 3/4 NPT female threaded ports for added convenience. Ergonomically designed side handles are included, making it even easier to handle and carry the post driver. The piston of the PD-55 is constructed from alloy steel and heat-treated, ensuring its durability and longevity.
It features a ground surface with a hard chrome plate and is designed with two round valve ports, providing better lubrication and load distribution to the valve ring while in operation. The PD-55 comes with a 3 7/8-inch I.D. master chuck, made from all-welded, reinforced steel and tubing construction. The chuck is equipped with extra-long chuck adaptor attachment lugs, allowing for easy customization.
Standard chuck adaptors are available in various sizes, ensuring compatibility with a range of post diameters. All fasteners used in the PD-55 are S.A.E. Grade 5 bolts with Belleville lock washers, ensuring secure and reliable assembly. With an air consumption of 42 CFM @ 90 PSI, this post driver is both powerful and efficient.
