Regency PDUs DPEL2 Editorial Review
The Regency DPEL2 Tabletop Power and Data Port has garnered mixed reviews from customers, reflecting a range of experiences and sentiments about the product's functionality and build quality. Many users have noted that the unit performs well for its intended purpose, especially in conference table setups, such as those from Saffco/Mayline. One customer reported successful use of the ports and praised the exceptional service from Amazon when a unit broke shortly after purchase. However, several users expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the materials and finish. Complaints about the design included a too-narrow opening that restricts the use of certain power adapters, limiting compatibility with devices like MacBooks without pre-installed extension cables. Issues with latch operations and overall Construction quality were also highlighted, with some users receiving products that were broken upon arrival or failed during initial use. Despite its aesthetic appeal when integrated into professional settings, the recurring concerns about durability and material quality have left some customers disappointed. Overall, it seems that while the Regency DPEL2 may work well in certain configurations and environments, potential buyers should be cautious regarding build quality. **
