HP CD & DVD Drives F2B56AA Editorial Review
### Editorial Review of the External USB Optical Drive The External USB Optical Drive has received a positive reception from customers, highlighting its impressive performance and versatility. Many users have praised its compatibility with both USB-2 and USB-3 ports, with no reported issues regarding format or playback. Customers appreciate how seamlessly the drive operates with CDs and DVDs, noting that it can easily handle software installation from discs, allowing users to maintain control over their software ownership. Notably, the design of the drive is a standout feature, with one user creatively utilizing Velcro to attach it to the back of their desktop monitor for a clutter-free workspace. This feature not only enhances its aesthetic but also contributes to practicality by minimizing desk space usage. Users have also emphasized the sturdiness of the product, suggesting it offers a reliable alternative to cheaper, more flimsy models available on the market. While some caution has been noted regarding the thin Construction, the absence of an external power source and the ease of setup have been viewed positively. Customers value the drive's strong performance, affirming that it meets their needs efficiently. The Consensus is clear—while there are cheaper alternatives, the quality and durability of the HP External USB Optical Drive justify the higher price point. Feedback suggests this is a worthwhile investment for users looking for a dependable external optical drive. ####
