The Minolta MN30WP is a compact and well-designed waterproof digital camera with all the features one would need, including a burst feature. It takes clear, well-exposed pictures with no delay when the shutter is pressed. However, it is not as sturdy as some other waterproof cameras and would not survive a drop or impact very well. It is recommended for everyday carry (EDC) use, but not as the only camera for a vacation. One customer had an issue with the battery not recharging correctly, and another found that the camera uses a micro SD card rather than a regular size SD card, which was not indicated on the website. Overall, the Minolta MN30WP is a great option for a child to take underwater photos or snorkeling shoots or as a budget-friendly EDC option.
