répondre: No. The indexing of the right (rear) shifter is for Shimano 9 speed RDs only. SRAM x9 uses a different 'actuation ratio' and won't shift properly with Shimano shifters. -

répondre: Microshift has a you tube video on the installation. Just search 9 speed microshift setup and you should find it. -

Would this work for a 3x7?
répondre: No. It does not work for 3x7. Works only for 3x9 Speed. Thank you very much! -

répondre: Not sure about the model number, but the one which we received can't be switched between indexed and friction. It is the 9-speed index-only model. -

Can I use it for 1x9 and can I use the 3x shifter if needed?
répondre: Yes, you can use it as a 9 speed, just remove the front derailleur. To use just the front derailleur, you would need to convert the rear wheel (or buy) to single speed, and get something like a Paul Components Melvin, chain tensioner. The easiest thing to do is just leave it for a while, ride in the middle chainring and see how you like it. -

Will this work with a 2x6 speed?
répondre: It may work, but 9 speed shifter has three shifts that you will not have, and the serious question is whether the spacing on your six speed is close enough or the same as for the nine. -
