  • Building upon the success of the Solid State Logic SSL 2 and SSL 2+, the SSL 12 USB Audio Interface is a highly portable 12-in and 8-out, bus-powered interface that delivers all of the professional, studio-grade quality and legendary analog character one would expect from SSL in a compact form factor, ideal for content creators and producers on a tight budget. With pristine 32-bit / 192 kHz AD/DA conversion, you will capture every detail and nuance of your recorded sounds, while ADAT input and intuitive console-style software mixing allows the SSL 12 to be both a studio centerpiece and a portable production hub all at once. Each input channel is arranged vertically like a large-format mixing board, providing 5-segment LED metering, selectable 48V phantom power, mic and line-level operation, and a Legacy 4K switch that adds real analog color enhancement to any input source, inspired by the classic sound of 4000 Series consoles heard on countless hit records. Despite it's compact size, the SSL 12 is loaded with a huge amount of professional studio features normally reserved for high-end rackmount interfaces. SSL has a history of innovation in analog electronics and console design. SSL is always moving forward with analog. Legacy 4K is an all-analog enhancement effect inspired by the character of an SSL 4000 Series console (often referred to as 4K). The cross-platform if operating systems SSL 360 degreesapplication hosts the powerful yet intuitive console-style SSL 12 Mixer, where you can configure and control every aspect of SSL 12. The SSL 12 comes bundled with the SSL Production Pack, a unique collection of SSL and 3rd-party software packed with a selection of must-have virtual instruments, plug-ins, samples, and DAWs (3-Months Access).
