Sword & Sorcery Editorial Review
In the latest installment of the series by Lauren Roberts, readers are taken on an emotional rollercoaster as the relationships between characters deepen and unexpected plot twists keep them engaged throughout. The author's ability to make characters come to life is praised, with many expressing strong emotions towards their journey. The love confession between Kai and Paedyn is highlighted as a favorite moment, leaving readers eagerly awaiting the conclusion of the trilogy. However, some readers expressed frustration over inConsistencies between the audiobook and the written version, mentioning discrepancies in names, quotes, and narration. This caused some confusion and detracted from the overall reading experience for those who chose to engage with both formats. Additionally, a few readers felt that the pacing of the story was slow and lacked excitement, with some criticizing it as better suited for a younger audience. Overall, while the book received mixed reviews, the majority of readers seem to be invested in the characters and eager to see how their journeys will unfold in the next installment. **
